As the Data Controller, I, Mehmet Emin Aklan, place great importance on ensuring that all personal data is processed and protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (\u201cKVK Law\u201d) and that such data is processed and stored in compliance with this law.<\/div>

In this context, our Company processes personal data of our customers who use our products and services, as well as\u2014but not limited to\u2014our potential customers, our employees, the labor union to which our employees belong, its representatives and employees, our interns, job applicants, shareholders, officers, suppliers, consultants, partner companies and their employees, shareholders, and officers, our visitors, and any other individuals in contact with our company\u2014all in our capacity as the \u201cData Controller.\u201d.<\/div>

WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA<\/strong><\/div>

Not only information that merely identifies an individual\u2014such as their first name, last name, date of birth, and place of birth\u2014but also their phone number, vehicle license plate number, Social Security number, passport number, resume, photographs, video and audio recordings, fingerprints, genetic information, IP address, e-mail address, hobbies, preferences, people with whom one interacts, group memberships, family information, and\u2014without being limited to these\u2014all data that directly or indirectly identifies an individual constitutes personal data.<\/div>

Your personal data is processed by our company in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698;<\/div>

  • Explicitly stipulated in the law,<\/li>
  • It is directly related to and necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract,<\/li>
  • It is mandatory for our company to fulfill its legal obligations,<\/li>
  • Personal data has been made public by the data subject,<\/li>
  • Necessity for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,<\/li>
  • It is mandatory to carry out personal data processing activities for the legitimate interests of our Company, provided that it does not harm fundamental rights and freedoms,<\/li>
  • It is mandatory for the protection of the life or physical integrity of the personal data owner or someone else, and in this case, the personal data owner is unable to disclose his consent due to actual impossibility or legal invalidity,<\/li>
  • Processing of sensitive personal data other than the health and sexual life of the personal data subject is stipulated by law,<\/li>
  • Sensitive personal data relating to the health and sexual life of the personal data owner are processed by persons or authorized institutions and organizations under the obligation of confidentiality for the purposes of protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, planning and management of health services and financing. In the absence of these conditions; our Company applies for the explicit consent of personal data owners in order to carry out personal data processing activities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>

            OUR METHODS OF COLLECTING AND STORING PERSONAL DATA<\/strong><\/div>

            In accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVK Law. In accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVK Law, our Company transfers personal data to Business Partners in order to fulfill the purpose of establishing a business partnership, to our Suppliers due to the products and services that our Company procures from outside to fulfill its commercial activities, to our Affiliates due to the fact that the participation of our Company's affiliates may be required while carrying out its commercial activities, to our Shareholders in order to provide the strategies that must be established in order to fulfill the commercial activities of our Company, Authorized Public\/Private Institutions and Organizations and real persons, Tax and similar consultants, mandatory persons, institutions and organizations related to legal follow-up processes, institutions and organizations related to legal follow-up processes and third parties from whom we receive consultancy, including auditors, and without limitation, business partners, third parties from whom services are received, authorized persons and organizations for the above-mentioned purposes, domestically and abroad, as required by other laws and within the legal authority of the requesting institution and limited to the purpose requested.<\/div>

            YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE KVKK<\/strong><\/div>

            Data subjects have the right to learn whether their personal data has been processed; if so, to request information regarding such processing; to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is being used in accordance with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred, whether within the country or abroad;\u00a0 request the correction of their personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly, and request that the third parties to whom their personal data has been transferred be notified of such correction, to request the erasure or destruction of personal data if the grounds for processing no longer exist, and to request that third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred be notified of this action, to object to a decision made solely through the automated processing of their personal data that adversely affects them, and to request compensation for damages suffered as a result of the unlawful processing of their personal data.<\/div>

            However, data subjects may object to the processing of personal data for purposes such as research, planning, and statistics by anonymizing such data through official statistics, the processing of personal data for artistic, historical, literary, or scientific purposes, or within the scope of freedom of expression, provided that such processing does not violate national defense, national security, public safety, public order, economic security, the privacy of private life, or personal rights, nor constitute a crime, the processing of personal data within the scope of preventive, protective, and intelligence activities carried out by public institutions and organizations authorized by law to ensure national defense, national security, public safety, public order, or economic security, the processing of personal data by judicial authorities or enforcement agencies in connection with investigations, prosecutions, trials, or enforcement proceedings; since these cases are excluded from the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law, individuals cannot exercise the rights specified above.<\/div>

            Data subjects; where the processing of personal data is necessary for the prevention of a crime or a criminal investigation; the processing of personal data that has been made public by the data subject themselves; the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of supervisory or regulatory duties, or for disciplinary investigations or prosecutions, by competent and authorized public institutions and organizations, as well as professional organizations with the status of public institutions, acting pursuant to the authority granted by law, or where the processing of personal data is necessary to protect the State\u2019s economic and financial interests in matters related to the budget, taxes, and financial affairs; in such cases, they may not exercise the rights specified above, except for the right to claim compensation for damages.<\/div>

            Pursuant to Article 13, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Data Protection Law, you may submit your request to exercise the rights listed above to our Company in writing or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.<\/div>
